Choosing the best size
For working out the best width, the Kingfisher can be fitted 100mm wider and 50mm narrower than the price list sizes, for e.g. a 1750mm wide can be fitted 1700mm minimum width and 1850mm maximum width.
If you have wide gunwales choose where you would like to fix the mounting points (deckmounts),close to the outer or inner edge tends to be strongest. Measure that distance and use the measurement for deciding on the best size Kingfisher Canopy.
If you have narrow gunwales (approx. 40mm) measure from the center of gunwale to the center of gunwale and use that distance.
To help in deciding what length to get, use your tape measure to show where the 2.4m, 2.8m or 3.2m starts and finishes in relation to the internal space of your boat.
As a very general guide: 2.4m – Suits boats under 3.6m long
2.8m – Suits boats from 3.6m to 4.3m long
3.2m – Suits boats over 4.3m
